Order Fulfillment System - OFS
Key functions OFS provides are: state-of-the-art paperless picking, order process management, carton contents cubing, labeling, intelligent conveying and diverting, integrated scanning, electronic weighing, order packing and verification, outbound sortation, palletizing, manifesting, and system-directed truck-loading. If desired, inventory control functions such as receiving, system-directed putaway, automatic replenishment, consolidation and cycle counting can be included. The OFS acts as a central server for all your automation and picking subsystems. Your Enterprise Solution simply downloads the orders to the OFS . The OFS controls order distribution to the proper subsystem. Pick-to-light (PicRite), pick/put-to-store (PutRite), RF-picking, carousel (TurnRite), wireless cart (CartRite), RF-Picking, and third party solutions such as A-Frames can be seamlessly interfaced to the OFS and thereby to your Enterprise Solution. back to top PutRite ® Put-To-Light System The PutRite system is
used in a variety of applications where products delivered in bulk containers
such as full-cases are distributed to individual cartons typically representing
store orders. The system guides distribution of product to the appropriate put
location for each store carton and specifies the quantity required. The system
tracks all product quantities put into each carton and maintains a record of the
remaining product requirements.

back to top CartRite ® Mobile RF-Cart CartRite ® offers low cost, accurate, high-speed picking for areas not equipped with a pick-to-light system. CartRite perfectly handles the 80% of your products that constitute 20% of your volume. The CartRite System is the perfect solution for applications with large numbers of medium-to-slow moving SKUs. CartRite combines computer controlled loose or split case picking with batch processing. The system controls batch picking into shipping cartons or totes by directing users to the proper warehouse location for each pick and indicating the quantity required for each carton/tote. How CartRite Works - The CartRite system includes a laptop computer with full-size display, wireless LAN connection, a scanner, display modules for each put carton/tote location on the cart, and a power pack. Typical carts contain from 9 through 16 carton/tote locations. The system is capable of supporting virtually any number of warehouse locations. The power supply and rechargeable batteries enable the cart to operate for an 8-hour work shift. The CartRite system guides the pickers to the proper warehouse locations for the orders in the batch on the cart and displays the quantities required for each carton/tote on the corresponding light modules. Order status is reported back to the system server on a continuous basis. Click here for a CartRite data sheet. back to top TurnRite ® Carousel Control System The TurnRite system is used in all types of carousel batch order processing applications. The system controls all industry standard horizontal and vertical carousels. The system supports multiple workstation operation, with each workstation consisting of one or more carousels. The TurnRite system combines carousel pick and batch put operations, as well carousel restocking and cycle counting functions. For each order pick, the system controls the rotation of the carousel to deliver the product to the picker. The TurnRite system indicates the proper pick locations/quantities and guides the distribution of carousel picks into the proper cartons. Light displays in a tower adjacent to the carousel guide the picker to the proper bin pick location and display the quantity to be picked. At that point, the system's light-directed batching feature guides distribution of the picks into the proper cartons.
